If you opt for a Blu-ray player with networking and Internet streaming, or a disk that loads quickly, and then try to move along packed. But if you're a person patient enough and are looking for high performance audio and video, then you really like the Denon 2010CI DBP.

Blu-ray Disc "has come a long way, baby." Gone are the ultra-long waits, poor SD upconversion, frequent problems with disc compatibility and lack of Internet connectivity that plaguedfirst and second generation players. DBP Denon 2010CI offers outstanding performance audio and video, including solid upconversion DVD Bonus View and BD-Live capability and stable performance even with the latest cutting-edge Java-based BD Blu-ray Disc. By the way, it was like you could in previous reviews, players Denon never seen before with the "random Blu-ray-freeze" problem that hit for 2009 Panasonic also afflicted players (who have many parts with Denon) butThis question has both the Panasonic and Denon players firmware updates last year delivered a separate disk. If you buy one, you must upgrade the firmware to ensure that the latest version.

Sure, the Denon is maybe the fastest player on the discs load (in fact, is one of the slowest of the current player), and can not no Internet functions like streaming Netflix and Pandora, but if these things are not important for you, and its price does not make you cringethen you should seriously consider, DBP-2010.

Load times are probably the major problems here. initial startup takes about 18 seconds, which is not bad. But after that, loading a standard DVD takes another 22 seconds, a load Blu-ray in about 48 seconds and a BD-Java for Blu-ray ("Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl") loads about. 60 seconds. Compared to OPPO BDP-83 player in the Denon is about twice as long for standard DVD and Blu-ray exposureRecords, and is charged with about 70% slower titles Blu-ray BD-Java.

The reader works fine on HD upscaling and deinterlacing torture test as the HQV Benchmark DVD and Blu-ray Spears and Munsil test disc. In addition to the standard HDMI output (with support for bitstream and PCM), the player also has a series of multi-channel (up 7.1) analog outputs. These come inuseful if you use the player with an old A / V receiver or preamp / processor, decode HDMI audio is absent. Like most players, the DBP-2010CI adjusting the number of channels, you can gain for each channel, the size of each speaker (for bass management) and time delay for each channel. Furthermore, as most players can adjust the subwoofer level will only be reduced (not increased), so you'll want to ensure that the receiver has an option for entry-level subwoofer (10-15 dB), when you want to increase the usemulti-channel analog outputs. We tested the outputs with a range of music and action-oriented Blu-ray titles ("Drum Line", "Hellboy," "Dave Matthews / Tim Reynolds at Radio City") and found that the player is very good dynamic and offered a good compromise, a balanced tonal presentation.
